More about Izzy...
So who are you, Ms. Izzy?
I live in a old, renovated brownstone in Brooklyn with my husband and our animal family, which currently comprises two cats and a dog. However, I've lived a lot of places around the globe, and I come from a multi-cultural background, so really I feel as if I'm from nowhere and everywhere. Meaning I feel right at home in Brooklyn.
No, I mean professionally.
Professionally I'm a wannabe writer, an occasional actress, a sometimes model and a certified yogi who loves good conversation (which to me means conversations about books, music and movies) and old, pre-loved clothes. Basically, I spend all the time I can reading and writing and watching old movies.
Anything else of dire importance?
I'm French and American, so I speak both languages but with a funny accent in each. I've thought about doing the blog in both languages, but it would be hard because I write so much already and that would change the layout dramatically. I also love to sing, but I'm shy about singing in public. So...sometimes I post stuff on youtube. Ideally I'd love to find someone to collaborate with.
What do you shoot with?
We purchased a Canon Eos Rebel T3i on October 20, 2011. The pictures are either taken by me or by my husband who wants to be credited under the superhero alias Austin Jackson... riiiight.
Can you sum it up? I don't have all day.
Sorry! Well, um...I write about all that stuff.
Stuff? Izzy!
Okay more specifically I write about the stuff I love: political issues, my dog and cats, thrift stores, vintage fashion, my husband, my friends, work, family, movies, cooking, New York City and (last but very much not least) ripping good reads.
Anything else?
You can see more about my acting work on my website: www.isabelladavid.com and some of my published writing here: www.izzydavid.com
Feel free to ask me anything else, whether it's of dire importance or not. And comments are always welcome and appreciated!
Thanks!
Izzy
